Learn step-by-step approaches to enable your creativity to flourish in this beginner one-day botanical drawing workshop. Join me to learn a variety of techniques and build self-confidence in botanical drawing.

The day will begin with introductory warm-up activities before moving on to sketching and analysing your plant specimen in detail. You will practice and traditional techniques with a selection of drawing tools and techniques including graphite, sketching pencils, coloured paper, and white cartridge paper. By the end of the day, you will have been shown how to focus on the structure, form, and overall shape of your plant specimen, along with ways of collecting drawings in sketchbooks or for framing.
